Working for Schiphol has been such a great experience! Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, known informally as Schiphol Airport, is the main international airport of the Netherlands and one of the biggest in the world. As many of you may know on a lot of airports around the world there are a lot of shopping activities to do on the airport before your departure or arrival. And Schiphol is no exception. Every two months the airport releases a Special Offer brochure where each and every store puts in their products with special and reduced prices. Around this time the whole airport is covered in advertising for these offers, you can find huge breathtaking Lightboxes with the products displayed on it or smaller advertising in abri’s and store POS.

Besides working on POS projects I also made some more corporate work. The Cargo side of Schiphol needed a few infographics from time to time to send out to co-workers or to brief potential new partners. I got to create and illustrate some of these infographics fitting in the brand identity guidelines of the airport.

And next to the corporate work Schiphol added new destinations to fly out to. For each new destination we created a guide and info folder for the first flight for the people on board to read. The folder included background information about the destination as well as places to visit and tips to get the best food and drinks.
